I use oil bars on a variety of surfaces (linen, hessian, paper, and wood),

and through texture and mark-making

I create abstract expressionist pieces exploring the layered

identities, inherited

memory,

and subconscious emotion that comes with knowing and not knowing, and learning from

family, and what that means about home.
